  20. To install this program, use the Installation Tool program
  21. that came with your pilot.  Select the ".prc" file that
  22. comes with this distribution AND the ".pdb" database file.
  23. After you have run the Installation Tool, perform a HotSync
  24. to complete the installation.

  27. Usage:
  28.  
  29. Periodic Table presents you with the left half of the periodic
  30. table of the elements at startup.  To see detailed information
  31. about any element, simply tap the box containing the element's
  32. symbol.  A popup window shows the atomic number, symbol, full
  33. name, atomic weight and other details of the selected element.
  34.  
  35. The ">>>" button moves you to the right half of the periodic
  36. table.  Similarly, the "<<<" button moves you back to the left
  37. half of the table.
  38.  
  39. The category popup list allows you to filter both halves of the
  40. table by major elemental category (usually represented by
  41. different colors on a real chart):
  42.  
  43.   alkali metals
  44.   alkali-earth metals
  45.   transition elements
  46.   other metals
  47.   non-metals
  48.   noble gases
  49.   Lanthanides
  50.   Actinides
  51.   metaaloids
  52.   halogens
  53.  
  54. Choose "All" from the category list to see all the elements again.

  56. From any element detail dialog box, you may select "Note..." to enter
  57. information about the element selected.  The usual editing features are
  58. present:

  62.   Copy
  63.   Paste
  64.   Select All

  66. as well as font selection.  We you are finished entering information for
  67. the selected element, tap "Done" to return to the element details box.
